Lou, I should have been more clear, but FFM is correct, I'm looking for feedback from anyone with the PPE headers, X-Force dual mode exhaust with the hi-flow cats installed.

I just off the phone with Marty at X-Force USA and he said both the normal and Varex versions have no fitment issues anymore. Apparently all the big wigs from X-Force Australia came last month to hash out the issue but what they found is that there were slight differences in each car rather than the exhaust which prevented a correction to be made for a stock vehicle. Marty told me one of the cars that came in which the owner said was stock had a hack job exhaust shop exhaust on it. They apparently check the stock out at the suppliers and apparently there should be no more fitment issues. This sounds strange to me as I can't imagine there being much difference between where a hanger needs to be on our car but I'm just relaying what I was told.

Hope this helps.

Sweet! Looks like I'll be ordering mine soon then. Just been waiting for them to correct the fitment issues.

Just to be clear, I was told the VAREX version has no fitment issues. X-Force told me their standard exhaust also has no fitment issues and instead pointed towards variances in our vehicles as being the cause for the hangers not matching up. I'm not exactly sure that a redesign was completed as they never told me the hanger positions have changed from the versions the first adopters received. I'll probably be picking up this exhaust soon as well but I don't want the crowd to gather in front of my house with pitchforks and torches if the hangers don't fit and the ends need to be trimmed.

For $620 shipped I don't care if some hangers are a little off. That's absurdly cheap and could throw two of them away before you spent enough to cover the other options haha.

Yup! One can't get too much heart burn over hangers being a few inches off when this exhaust is 1/3 of the price of most ISF exhausts. But, as they say, you get what you pay for.

Anyone that has this exhaust can you provide a pic or tell me how centered the exhaust is in the bumper? Im considering getting this, but i would like to know if welding on tips that come through the bumper is an option

It's a single exit exhaust. Which means even if it was centered, you would have to find a split exhaust tip that where staggered. Which I don't know if is common and equal length tips would look bad.

Hi all, new ISF owner and first post here. Joined the Australian forums as im Syd based but there is so much more ISF activity here vs in Australia. Anyways came across this thread. Ive recently fitted a ca back Xforce system to my ISF with the Varex options to close the valve. I got it fitted in the Sydney head office which is massive, they must of literrally had thousands of exhausts in boxes lol.

After a few wiring issues and blown fuses due to an exposed wire, ive been enjoying the exhaust now for about a month and really enjoy it. It was $1800 au fitted etc.

Its definitely got the loud rumble rasp noise yet surprisingly tested at only 91db. My old WRX was 98db. With the valve closed via the remote its much quieter. To me its quieter than stock but generally i only close it when i leave for work at 5am to keep peace with the neighbours or police are near to not attract attention.

No dyno numbers to back it up but going off my seat of the pants dyno it definitely is more free flowing, and appears to have gained mid to top. Bottem end feels similar. Yes louder always feels faster but i do believe it has gained for sure. Ps Loving the bleep on downshifts now.

Would love to get headers but to import from the US (PPE) and with customs, freight etc a few dealers here want $3600 AU which is just crazy for headers. I paid under 1k AU for my WRX headers (different league of car i know but still stainless is stainless. Its not like Lexus manufactured the headers themselves) but maybe one day lol

That's awesome, great alternative option for a valved exhaust. Now if someone would have just made a valved exhaust with a through bumper tip option

I don't Own an F however I am converting my is250 rear into an F, installing PPE headers with no cats and the XForce exhaust, I'll post a Video of the exhaust once everything is installed. And the hangers don't really matter to me because welding on hanger can't be that expensive and the benefit of us would be I can center the exhaust to the tips better then to have a fixed hanger that you can't or won't center to your exhaust tips. And to answer someone's question about tips anything is possible if you find someone that can do the custom work for you properly. Would have to weld two exhaust tips to a very short Y-pipe and play with it a bit to get it centered to your liking.

Just to get more clarification, here is the response I got back from Xforce USA just a few minutes ago:

Awesome! Can you reply back asking which suppliers carry the revised non-varex system and what the part number is(if its changed)?

I'm going to e-mail Taylor at Snail Performance and confirm that he has received the new non-VAREX version mufflers and hangers.

Hey guys don't know if anyone here is interested in my XForce exhaust. Sold my IS250 so I won't be doing the rear conversion anymore. It's still brand new in the box. Never mounted. I'll be posting it up for sale soon
