That's funny. I sent them an email with corrections to some of the facts they had wrong on their site. Super nice guys, and said thanks for the help. But they still have it wrong:
Located at the fulcrum of the
roller rocker arm, the 2UR-GSE engine had a hydraulic lash adjuster which
consisted of a plunger, a plunger spring, a check ball and a check ball
spring. The hydraulic lash adjuster was actuated by engine oil supplied from
the cylinder head and an integrated spring. The oil pressure and the spring
force that acted on the plunger pushed the roller rocker against the cam to
adjust the clearance between the valve stem and rocker arm.
We surely do not have hydraulic lash adjustment in our engines.

It appears that the intake valve on the 2UR-GSE is the same diameter as several other Toyota/Lexus engines from my part number cross-referencing and other searching. It appears to be 38mm, just like the 2UR-FSE, 3UR-FE, 1GR-FE, 2GR- FE and 2GR-FSE to name a few, these all have lower lift numbers than the 2UR-GSE for both intake and exhaust. That said, the titanium 2UR-GSE intake valves should be direct-fit into the 2GR-FSE among others.

The exhaust valves/valve seats are much more specific to the IS F and are thus much harder to cross reference to get information. That said, Lexus Australia often likes to include useful information in press releases, and they do list the diameter at 32mm for the exhaust valve (as well as 38mm for the intake valve).

Information I have seen also places the 2GR at 32mm for exhaust valves, and a quick look through the repair manuals show they share the same stem diameter (5.465 - 5.480mm) and overall length (110.40mm) as well. Most likely the differing material is why they have different part numbers (or potentially valve angle(s), etc.)

Jeff

Update 4/7/2016:

Hello Everyone... so yesterday JDMV8 showed up early in the morning and we installed a prototype of our new "Tuned Intake" with the 87mm MAF housing, huge cone filter with velocity stack, and cold airbox. Then he drove around a bit and we hit the dyno in the afternoon.

Results are without ported throttlebody... so it seems like our intake DOES NOT require an upgraded throttlebody to reach 425whp SAE!

Big thanks to JDMV8 for providing his car in the name of science, and confirming the gains we posted on our shop ISF.

JDMV8's ISF strapped to the dyno

Dyno results for headers/exhaust/tune vs. headers/exhaust/RR-Racing Tuned Intake

Nice work! Lucky JDMV8 for living relatively close to RR Racing!

Rafi, do you know if with this setup you regain that stock induction sound? After I installed my aftermarket exhaust, it's so loud I can't hear the induction noise anymore😔. I still don't have headers, which will probably make it worse...

Nice result Rafi.

Look forward to seeing this setup once you're ready.

Does that mean the ported throttlebody doesn't add anything, or do you think that 425whp SAE would increase with the ported throttlebody added?

Sounds like another top quality RR-Racing part I'll be needing to add to my ever growing shopping list!

We already tried this setup with the huge RCF 84mm throttlebody. Throttle response improves, but peak power is the same. It is what it is. We are putting a lot of $$ into development so that folks don't go wasting/spending money on things that don't add power!

I do recall seeing that now you mention it.

When will this be available to buy from the shop, and will you be offering any introductory discount like you did with the other parts when they were first released?

Be good to see how this looks in comparison to the stock airbox. Just as long as it doesn't take anything away from my lovely RR-Racing titanium intake pipe!

To my understanding, this only works for "headers" only. Is this correct? Any gains for a decatted stock header? I am very INTERESTED

I think he said no gains for decatted primaries unfortunately just for header equipped cars.

I wonder if it would work for header cars with high flow cats? Hmmmm.....
