Hey guys im currently building a 95 sc300 that I picked up from a old member on here. The car is pretty clean but has its flaws here and there. Doing a 1jzgte non vvti swap and keeping it automatic. I will post pictures as I go and you can see the progress of the car.
Recent things that I have done
pulled motor and parted most of the stock stuff.
Installed new oil pump, water pump, valve stem seals , valve cover gaskets , plugs, powder coated everything that would fit in the oven lol
cxracing thick wall manifold and tial 44 wastegate
Hope to get help. Changed the water pump and timing belt on 95 sc300. Was careful to not lose the timing by marking the cam position as well as the crank. Runs great when cold but after warm won't run good at all. Adjusted the distributor, runs best all the way to the left ( down ). What to do? Can I remove and testable the distributor? Also I read in a post I need to jump two positions on diagnostic plug??? Please explain Jump to what?
so what throttle cable am i supposed to use? i saw you can use the 94 camry one and a supra. i want to keep the trans pressure line in the same place so what all do i need to do...?
