So we are now working with Girodisc (see www.girodisc.com) a well know manufacturer of very high quality 2 piece rotors to introduce a front and rear kit for the RCF. Delivery would be in March.
Features:
100% made in USA quality. Rotor discs are cast in the USA, and all CNC machining is performed by Girodisc.
Lightweight 2 piece construction:
16 lbs weight savings front!
14 lbs weight savings rear!
Total 30lbs of rotating weight savings.
Fully "floating" construction means that the disc and the center aluminum hat are free to expand and contract independently of each other... this reduced thermal stresses that lead to cracking.
Rotors are made from alloyed iron, and are race proven. They also feature directionally curved cooling vanes.
Rotors are only available slotted.
The aluminum hats will be anodized light gray as shown in one of the pictures below:

Also, what performance street pad (since I am not tracking the car) will work best with these rotors?
If you have a F&R package upgrade to include pads and SS lines as well, that would be nice to see as well.
The Girodisc "Magic" pads are recommended for street applications. They are very quiet, and low dust. Girodisc S/S compound is recommended for street/track application.
Definitely, we will have very attractive package pricing. For whatever reason, not many ISF owners are upgrading to the SS lines, but we will also offer that as an option for the RCF.
