hahaha...i am fortunate enough to lend my vehicle for the R&D of the GRIP exhaust. and i hope you do get this one...it sounds amazing inside and out.

Here's a video of a quick in cabin sound clip of the Ark Performance IS350 GRIP exhaust prototype RWD. You will hear some minor fender lining rubbing. sounds worse than it really is... please feel free to fast forward through the stop lights. Hint - use your Mark Levinson system to play the video. Its almost identical to driving with the exhaust yourself

sounds really good. hope the prototype stays the same. Ark made a cat back for the optima and during testing they added a resonator which took away the drone.

Do you notice any drone?

 

damn that sounds good !.

 

you'll always have drone with any agressive catback. but their helmholtz design reduces the drone significantly! I've had multiple people ride with me and they're surprised how little the drone is when you consider how mean it sounds on the outside. =)
