Aslong as you keep the tire height the same all around it does not matter.

I run staggered on my AWD. I've only had them this past summer and no problems. I have 19x9.5 in the front and 19x11 in the rear. for tires, i have 235/35/19 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rears. I used the tire calculator on the discount tire website. It says that the difference for overall diameter is 0.02 and circumference is 0.06. So if i was going 65 mph, the difference would only be 0.05 mph. I think that difference could be the same between a new tire and a worn tire. Hope this helps a little.

I've run staggered on my AWD for 3yrs/50K miles without issues. Just make sure you choose correct tire sizes to match overall rolling diameter.

I'm AWD, staggered as well. Just need tires that have the same OD.
Vossen 083 - 19x8.5 235/35 and 18x10 275/30 can't remember exact offsets, but around +35mm - can be found with a search.
Not sure what city you're in but I'm in Woodinville if you ever want to try and meet up and get an idea of fitment.
