DIY - Matte Black Emblems - Plastidip, no emblem removal required!
Used almost a full 3 cans for the whole project. I did a light sprinkle over each wheel, then a full 3 wet coats. Came out really good, a couple small flaws where it looks like there might have been water still on the wheel. :-/ but barely noticeable, (only if you look for it)
oh, and I didn't mask the tires off, and you can't notice the spray onto the tire, I just tried not to spray much onto the tire...
and yaya, I know it's dirty and bird poop on the hood. But this is about muh wheels

mine was 5.98 as well
oh, and this is what happens when you don't mask off the tire...
this is way easy to peel off the tire and left a nice edge on the wheel. can't complain, and it saved me a lot of time without trying to mask the wheel...I just hope pops aint too mad about his lawn when he sees it

i wanna redo my grille surround but need to be motivated to mask everything again since ppl dont really notice my flaws yet
maybe i'll get the motivation when the first person notices my flaws
sigh. i wish it came out perfect the first time

When I did my grill... the part that took the longest was the stupid L emblem in the middle, because behind that is plastic, and that does not come off so easy, but ya, around the grill is not a problem

what part isn't coming off? mine was just a couple bolts and it popped right out..

this part was pissing me off, the two middle clips wouldnt come out
