So now I can finally get a better answer about my problem. I can't decide between going 19s or 20s. St Louis roads suck because it snows here and the roads get all torn up from the snow plows! I kinda wanna wuss out and go with 19s but maybe you guys will change my mind on going 20s. Well here's my conditions:

-06 GS430 RWD of course
-I'm lowering the car on Eibachs(1.5F/1.0R) don't ask or comment...I have my reasons
-not planning to do any fender mods, at least very minimal w/o shaving

My concern was with 19s...what offsets, widths, and tire size should i go with? also with 20s, what offsets, widths and tire size should i go with?

Thanks in advance!

Im in Chicago and the roads are worse I had the same concern you do and believe it or not the 20's are just fine. I am also lowered more but you dont have to do that. Its preference if you ask me. If I didnt feel it was a good idea I would let you know. I do put the OEM 18' rims back for winter time and wouldnt use the rims on my car in the salt/snow. Good luck in your search!

Yea mike I was in chicago couple of weeks ago, roads are worse there...there's potholes everywhere! and speedbumps in the middle of the hwy...wth is up with that? so 20s are fine huh?

originally my plan was to run 20x9 mid 30s offset with 245/30/20 in the front and 20x10 high 30s in the rear with 275/30/20, would that be alright without fender mods?
