Default Going 150 is fun

Going 150 going home at 3am is fun, then you find this in your engine bay.

If you are wondering what the hell this is, its part of my drive belt.

Here is what it looks like:

The first piece that caught my attention, which I found around my coolant hose.

Look I found more! It wrapped around my fan clutch as well.

Sweet...

Oh, this is sooo sexy.

Hooray!

Useless video. (I dropped the F bomb quite a few times)

No, I was just showing what happened. I'm extremely lucky. If the drive belt snapped on the highway my car would overheat and die out and there goes a crazy after hours towing bill.

I've been to 150 in my SC4 as well. It's an adrenaline rush for certain. My belts never shredded like that thankfully. At least now I know More than a tire can shred at those speeds.

I'm dying to take it out on a Club Race someday soon. I would like to get it's exhaust done up and a shift kit first.

Damn that was a close one bro. Good thing you caught it when you did. Can't imagine it being too fun hearing that snap at 100+.

Very close. Yeah I tend to check the engine bay after hard pulls and my oil all the time.

It suck to have it snap of slip off. I've witnessed it in my cousin's turbo supra when he did a pull. The engine temp goes flying, power steering is gone, the car just runs like ****, and it just sucks.
