Noticed Celsior (LS400) image depicting rear center driveshaft hump mat.
Can't make out the embroidered lettering.
Is this an OEM option or aftermarket?
It is an OEM option. It says "CELSIOR" on the center mat, and was not offered on the LS 400, at least not in the US... Also haven't seen it on international LS models. I have only seen this option on JDM Celsiors

Same goes for the first gen models.
correct, this is a non-US OE option. not sure why the US never got this option at all. perhaps there is a US-DOT regulation stopping it.
per Marzabella, Australia has them as OE as well, and their models are LS400s!
Thought of this thread yesterday as I met up with one of the mods from the UK LOC. He has a Celsior and the mats are as described above and much heavier than the standard Lexus items.
JDM Celsior mats arrived sooner than expected from Japan....
Very good condition.
Judging by the yarn stitched edging and continuity of the pattern, apear very much hand made.
About twice as thick as the OEM mats.
Toyota original..... Passenger side Driver's side will require trim shop attention. Full front and rear set. The rear center hump mat employs velcro strips affixing to the two side mats.
Several images of Celsior rear three mat set installed in North American 1999 LS400. Celsior rear three-mat set installed. Toyota used a continuous organic pattern. Velcro strips hold pattern in alignment. Excellent quality.. Over twice as heavy as the OEM mats. Top view at rear hump. "CELSIOR". Front seats moved forward for best light and images. The Celsior mats are fitted to the contours of the floor pan
The North American floor mats (left in place below Celsior mat) are not contour fitted....The border binding is quality hand sewn vs hot-stamped Lexus OEM mat. Another angle
Celsior is right-hand steering so passenger side mat is now driver's side in left-hand steering. Am having the left hand side professionally cut, sewn and form fitted around foot rest and gas pedal.
Much heavier than North Amercan mats.
Rear mats tailor fit perfectly in rear footwell and includes a hump cover..
Right hand drive so the mats are opposite, but worth modification.
Yeah i was considering these since they'll look cool with my grey interior, but worried about the driver side mat for fitment around the pedals. How different is it?
what to do with the front mats, that they don't fit? flip them, spiky side up ?
That would be good for the winter months. (If ya get snow)
Looks like you can take the drivers mat, (RHD) and put it on top of the full size mat to trace out and cut the size ya need for a (LHD) drivers side. After cutting to size you'll need to sew up the edges of the top somehow to make it look some kind of professional. The only thing with doing it this way, ya still have a RHD drivers mat without the full size top. But to me, it would be good enough.

Reason: different wording.
