Default Bump on rear hatch doesn't lock car

RX 350, 2015

I saw on a youtube video that pushing the bump underneath the Lexus emblem on the hatch is suppose to lock and close mirrors, mine does nothing, so I'm not sure what the purpose of that bump is. Can someone answer this?

Yes, the little bump just to the right of the hatch release is supposed to lock the doors. It won't work unless the hatch is completely closed (at least for me).

Default Lexus hatch

That's what I thought, but I called Lexus and they said no, that it was the back camera button.

Camera button, I've never heard of the existence of a camera button. Is that to take selfies when loading groceries?

Here's right out of the 2015 RX350 manual, I assume the inset image indicates you need the key nearby when pressing the lock button...
