Not sure if the timing is right but I will say this...SC430s are finally getting low enough in price that younger folks will buy them and they would be interested in high performance.

Most older folks, 50+, not so much, but some still would bite.

Anyway, I wish you luck and hope the timing is right for you!

Currently running at 307 bhp on PPE headers and a custom exhaust. More would be nice just to make the odd ISF sit up and take notice.
Those PPE headers and an exhaust only net 307 Brake horsepower? Or wheel horsepower?

Its gotta be wheel horsepower and all depends on what kinda dyno he did it on mustang, inertia. Ppe headers are dynobpriven to give 20hp and 20tq so there is some variables we do not know of.

Sorry about the slow reply. The PPE headers and custom exhaust on mine produced 307 bhp at the flywheel. It was measured on a Dynojet rolling road, the car was running on normal UK 97 RON fuel. The tester noted that it was too rich at the top end and said it would easily make 317 bhp if leaned out. I put it down to a dirty MAF sensor but it hasn't gone back to the dyno yet as it's waiting for an X pipe to be fitted first.

The exhaust configuration keeps evolving, I just have one more change to make in swapping the Y pieces for a new X pipe.

PPE headers (driver-side custom made in UK) to primary cats, to Y piece to 3 inch short pipe, to Y piece, then straight pipes back to center silencer and then side exit on each side of the silencer to quad tails. The third cat has been deleted, it did have 2 center resonators in the custom exhaust but I later removed them too when changing the round tails to larger ovals. It's not too loud and doesn't drone at any speed.

And here is the Y piece that hopefully will improve the flow and scavenging effect.

That is super cool man could you please post a video or two of a start with revs and drive in the car I really want to hear how the 3uz sounds with the headers and exhaust.

In the car, it's still quite refined until you kick it down and then it sounds like a V8 should but it's still not too loud.

The headers made only a very subtle difference to the sound but a very noticeable improvement in terms of acceleration. From listening to other SCs with exhaust modification, it's the rear silencer (muffler) that keeps a lid on the noise. The center resonators make a difference but far less. Cars without a big rear muffler and the middle resonators left in have a deeper burble sound.

Here's a clip after the center resonators were removed. I think this would only help the gains from Supercharging. Are there any more details on the package?

I noticed the power difference when i installed the headers with the stock exhsust, omg man you just made me want to get an exhaust made so bad lol That sounds so good you have made my day. I do not have anymore information the sc thread is way more receptive to superchargering than the ls community, i will be speaking to mike in a few days so I will ask him to pitch in on this thread.

Absolutely, that would draw a crowd.
Is there enough room in the LS430 engine bay for long tube headers? I did have a lovely 2004 LS430 a few years back but can't remember.

That's a big no man when I installed my PPE headers I barely had enough room to get a ratchet and torch in there haha

There are some pics of my car.
