Default 6 flats in first year of owning, any options?

Hey guys,
I've had my 2014 is350 f sport since last February. I love this car, its honestly everything I've wanted minus the part where I've had 6 flat tires since last February
I live in the tristate and am often commuting in Long Island/Manhattan/and NJ. I try to be as careful as possible and avoiding potholes and such but I still seem to get a ton of flats. Is there anything I can do aside for selling my car or moving? (Actually moving off Long Island next month to Northern NJ, but doubt roads are much better). It would be more than appreciated if you guys and gals could help a brotha out with any options.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
-Matt

I have sometimes thought that the design of some tires causes them to grab nails etc. (your flats are caused by punctures rather than road hazards I assume) more than others but the reality is more likely where you are driving. You are not in the process of moving to a newly constructed house are you - that is always a time of multiple flats for me. In those areas I may have had some marginal success in driving in the middle of the street when possible. Six is a lot of flats.

I also have a theory that the aerodynamics of some cars causes more object to hit the windshields - that belief is also unsupported by almost everyone.

Better luck in the new year.

Same one gets flat or all of them randomly. You may have tires from bad batch if flat is not by picking up nail or something. Have the tires remounted? Tires have proper pressure? Winter months pressure is lower than summer time due to cold temp. Topped up the air?
What brand tires? Looks like you got the car used.

All different tires, they definitely have some decent tread left they are the Turanza el-400s.
Are these just not great tires?
Seriously considering getting a 17 is300 non fsport and just chipping it as another option, would this be a better ride with the 17s? Would I miss the f sport? The front end doesn't look terrible on the non f-sport.
Thanks so much for the quick responses guys!

Turanzas are the worst tire ever made. Not kidding. Dead serious. Get the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3. Much better tires

why would you get a new car if the issue most likely lies with your tires? Get a new set of tires first.

Not really telling us if its a road hazard problem or someone slashing your tires.
the tires are not terribly low profile, so you should be ok in that respect.
Try a different set of tires, buying the same tire over and over and expecting something new is silly.
Maybe go with a set of Run Flats, they have a thicker sidewall and such. Though you give it up for harsher ride and louder road noise.

Sports models have 1 upsized rims/tires. For an example My Audi SQ5 has 21 inch rims vs. standard Q5. But my winter rims are 19 inches.
Since your tires are somewhat worn, I'd put on a new set with one already mentioned; (Michelin) Just you should make sure the tire shop to
clean rim's lip before mounting new tires. I replace tires when tread depth is approaching ~4/32 inches..

It sounds more likely a losing air situation rather than flat caused by a puncture.

I've never heard of someone selling their car due to a flat tire.
