I was walking into the garage and this caught my eyes. It looks the same both sides so it's probably normal. But why so much space (between the hood and the lamp)? Anyone knows the intention for this?

 

It looks like they are just trying to match the other existing gaps around the light. Mine is the same.

 

It's really a very good question? Why so much gap at the top of the headlight unit and the hood? Mind you the sides and bottom of that headlight unit is really tight. I know because I installed a clear bra on that bumper and almost impossible to tuck in the 8 mil thick bra!

 

i wonder if it has something to do with aerodynamics and wind dispersal.
