Why are Chromes so seemingly out of favor these days? I think they look so much better on a dark colored car than these dark wheels. Just me?
I guess, certainly not me Although I did have chromes on my black 1994 SC300 5MT with SC400 wheels. I moved to Virginia for a time in the mid nineties, and three of the wheels started to leak because the chrome was pealing. At that time I said never again. And as the years went by and fashion changed, I guess I changed with it. When I got my ISF, the dealer had 6 of 'em. Mine had chrome wheels, I made the dealer take 'em off. I'm now running base RCF wheels, and I luv the look of those.
The ADVAN GT's and Volk TE37's are nice but they are overplayed in several platforms already IMO.
Does anybody know of any 19" wheel setups that will allow a slightly increased tire width? I want to avoid going to a 20" setup as I don't want to increase the harshness of the GSF ride.
