Home safe in the man cave after removing the painters tape from the front and cleaned up. It was a filthy mess after driving home in mostly rain.

No mods will be done to this car other than Weather Techs, ExPel & wider front factory wheels so I can rotate the tires.

Xpel is a good thing. Expensive but totally worth it. I highly recommend a full ceramic coat on top of the xpel (even if you're only doing the front) . Would be much cheaper based on new paint. Pretty much no paint correction required. Usually an xpel installer would want to anyways.

I like the staggered look. I think it looks goofy with 265s up front...that's just me though. Nice looking ride though. Congrats!

Must have been a great to drive all that way.

Not quite ready for ceramic yet. It's very labor intensive but it is the best way to go. I usually do paint correction once a year and with the Adam's products I use it holds up really well. Staggered does look good but, I hate the fact that I can't rotate to extend the life of the tires.

I believe you can maximize the tire life by making sure tire pressure and alignment stay optimal. It also helps greatly to have an all-season to maximize tire life. You can rotate side to side (as long as you don't have directionals) which should help too. That's everything I'm doing with mine. So far so good.

If it's not too late, consider checking out 3M Pro Series Paint Protection Film. It's got a very nice, glossy look to it and some installers offer an optional service agreement that guarantees against paint damage. If a rock gets through the film and damges the paint, 3M will pay to remove the film, repair the painted surface and replace the film. Up to $3,500 coverage per incident!

I'd be happy to find someone in your area if you would like to check it out.

Aerotect, do you have experienced installers that you'd recommend in Thousand Oaks / Woodland Hills area?

I totally love the color combo on mine! Black has always been a bear to maintain but with all the improvements in car care products it's much easier. Detailing is my hobby so I really enjoy keeping it maintained.
