Default Best rims for 2003 SC430?

Coolest non-pitting 18" rims? Best tires for smooth, comfortable, quiet ride, also?

American Racing (been around for decades) have lot's of options for wheels. Also.... I put the Firestone Indy 500 Firehawks on my wife's 06 and the ride, comfort, quietness and handling got exponentially better! But.. they are NOTrun flats. Also... lot's of good suggestions here in many threads.

Been real happy with my TSW Nurburgring 18x8, slightly more aggressive offset than OEM so no need for spacers. Many owners like Mich Pilot Sport AS3 here but you will pay up for them. Been OK with Conti DWS in the past and happy with my BFG Comp AS now.

....any rim that you like, is the best one for the Sc...lol....everyone is going to have their own opinion & taste for wheels, some will like others choices & others won't. I say buy what you like & if you're happy with the choice, that's all that matters........

Default Size option?

Liking the G-Spiders, to replace my TRD Chrome Wheels. Should I order all 18" or rear in 18.5? Any advantage? I am thinking all 18" to keep it simple? Where these stock on the SC430?
I think this is the part#

18" G Spider Alloy Wheel, Front

Lexus Part No.: 08457-30813

Thanks

G Spiders were never stock on the SC or any other Lexus as far as I know. They are Lexus rims but purchased as an after market item. If they had been stock maybe Lexus would have sold way more SC430s than they did. The wheels on the SC did not look good until 2010. I have tourmaline rims on mine. I almost went with the G spider. They would have looked good on my 06 Smokey Granite.

Not quite true, but almost. The 2007 Pebble Beach Edition came standard with the G-Spider rims (which look amazing, in my opinion). I ordered a set of G-Spiders for my 2002 SC430 a couple of years ago (roughly $900 total for a set). I ended up selling them when I bought my 2006 SC430 (I actually kind of liked the chromed versions of the standard 2006 wheels with the matte painted copper inserts).

My 2009 Pebble Beach SC430 came standard with the Tourmalines, and I also like those quite a bit -- also available separately for around the same price as the G-Spiders...

On my 02 I replaced the pie plates a number of years ago, they looked pretty good. But, I recently replaced the rims (as pictured above) with the G-Spiders. I think they make the car look amazing. I purchased them from my local Lexus dealer here in Nashville for $975. I don't regret purchasing them at all, they are really nice looking.

Default GS Wheels

I'm a fan of OEM Lexus wheels. The G-Spiders are my favorite, but I also like these GS wheels.

I have been researching rims for my 2003 SC. Do you know what the American Racing number is for that wheel/rim, i.e., AR9??

If you are asking me that question... here is the page from AR. 904PVD http://www.americanracing.com/wheel/20354/ar904 and you will need to order lugnuts with that conversion as well.

Good luck and happy touring!
