Just keep it and re-stain it to match your interior. My **** I bought looked like burlwood in the pics...but when I got it...it was more golden brown. So I sanded it down, stripped it w/ Jasco (5 times), re-stained with MinWax (twice), and dipped in Polyurethane (twice).
Looks great!! Perfect match.
