There are hundreds of ways an engine can fail.
There are so many different variables in engine failure.
Long oil changes if properly monitored do NOT kill engines. 100 other things kill engines.
Thank you for sharing your Blackstone report.
how much did they charge you for the report?

I hope my ~4K mile, $20 an oil change interval eliminates one of the “hundreds of ways an engine can fail”

I would use the Blackstone test to verify adequate additive package protections in your inexpensive oil selection.

My inexpensive oil selections are Mobil1, Pennzoil and Valvoline full synthetic products. 😉🇺🇸
Jim was kind enough to provide the Blackstone report so I won’t need one, thanks Jim 😊.

Here's some more good news about "cheap" motor oil. Project Farm tested Costco's new(ish) full synthetic offering...Kirkland Signature brand vs Walmart's Super Tech synthetic. The Costco brand was $24 for 10 qts (2-5qt bottles in a case), but prices have gone up since the video was made. I got it for $30 on sale last January (still, just $3/qt). Both oils tested very well in the video and were comparable to the name brand synthetics. Check it out:

I'll likely keep using Pennzoil Platinum Ultra in my SC, but already used the Kirkland in my Tundra and ES. If you like the Project Farm video, check out his other oil testing videos. That's how I settled on the Pennzoil Platinum Ultra for my SC. I made my last purchase on Amazon for a reasonable price.

Here is project farm's latest oil test. They do say that the 20K motor oil is marginally better than the 10k Oil, but that he would never use it for more than 5000 miles
