navigation problems
Hi first time here so here it goes! I purchased a 2005 SC430 with a replacement radio, Planet Audio model 9695B, back in August 2022. The radio works great but the navigation system does not work at all! Everything is black. I suspect that the wrong wire harness was used when the radio was installed but would like the navigation system, although old and out of date, to work as well. anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be or which wire harness I can use to fix the problem myself. The Nav unit is easy to take out. Go on YouTube and search. Check your fuses first and if that is not the issue pull the unit and make sure everything got plugged back in after the radio install.

took the center consul apart and found that someone had just disconnected the nav system. But alas, since lexus stopped supporting the nav system in 2015 I just left it unplugged and will use my cellphone if I need directions!
