Looks like the twin Turbonetics setup they have is 500+ as well. This is based upon them rebuilding the engine with rods, cam, valves, crank and transmission. Anything above that horsepower will go well beyond the 35k quote. They are putting some figure together for me on higher horsepower figures.

Paul,
Nice ride. I noticed your turbo is low mount. That is what i have. I have twin T3. I was wondering how do u take care of the oil since the turbo is located below the oil pan. I am glad to see 500 bhp in your setup, but i doubt your stock pistons and rings can handle 700 bhp. Never know, I could be wrong.
I ran 15 psi last week and felt great. Very smooth. Currently, I am running a Vortech V2 SQ S-Trim and plan to run about 15-18 psi. My twin turbo was done almost two years ago and decide to try something else.
Do you have the dyno result from your 5.5 psi? How many rwhp did your car get from 5.5 psi? I bet you have problem with speed bumps....
Good luck!

15 psi!!!
thats awsome!
what did you have to do to set up to handle that much boost.
the car made 400 rwhp @ around 5 psi. and a little over 400 foot pounds.
right now the car is at its max and running around 6-6.5 psi but the problem is exactally what you said.
the rod's seem to be ok for now, but we know that they won't take much more. The real prob. with us is the tranny, it just can't handel the torque.
the turbo is mounted low but their no clearence problems, (you'll rip off the Blitz carbon lip first before you get close to the turbo!!) and to feed it is has a custom little oil resvior welded to it and is fed by a massive external oil pump! You can see the resivior in the pic on pg2.
Tranny is next and just like you said, rods, were also doing pistons, some head work and having the motor fully blue-printed and balanced, (hey why not! the motors apart anyway! )
Then we'll be able to turn up the boost
You said you're running 15psi, what did you do and what kind of numbers did you end up with? and do you have any pics of you set up. love to see them..
let me know and i hope i helped

Paul,
I have the following mods in my Sleeper LS400:
1. 40k Engine (old engine had 160,000 miles)
2. .093" copper gaskets (double the stock bring CR to 8.7:1)
3. ARP studs
4. 440 cc/min Supra MKIII Turbo injectors
5. Walbro 255 L/H fuel pump
6. Vortech V2 SQ S-Trim - Very quiet and effecient
7. Intercooler
8. Apexi S-AFC
9. Lextreme's 2800 rpm Torque Converter
10. MSD next few weeks
From my TT, I ran 8 psi and got 324.5 rwhp. Part of the reason was that my aged rings are bad to start will. With 15 psi, I would assume around 420 rwhp. My goal for this daily driver will be around 500 rwhp. What type of massive external pump you are running. Mechanical or electrical? I had Tilton scavenger oil pump. The problem for the oil pump would be to the flow rate exactly right. Too slow pumping, your turbo will smoke, too fast, you will burn your pump and very noise if no oil in it.
What is the problem? The problem would be driving normally and boosting. If your oil flow rate is set at cruise rpm like 2500 rpm. This oil flow would not work on 6000-7000 rpm. So, finding the medium would be tough and it will be trial and error.
For the oil solution, I had a oil restrictor valve to control the oil flow into the turbo. Remember, the electrical pump always pumping at a constant rate, the engine rpm is different and the oil pressure is proportional to engine rpm. I had an oil restrictor and an oil bypass line. The bypass line T off the inlet line and goes back to the oil pan. Sound complex? Just a little.
Do u have the dyno sheet? Love to see 5.5 psi and produce 400 rwhp. Here is my:
