spring loaded cupholder replace or?

The whole unit is easy to remove but not the cup holder. The spring loaded system once is out very difficult to get it back in.

The wood cover and the cup holder screw together. Not hard to separate.

I made the mistake of unscrewing all the screws, including the ones that hold the cup holder together. Don't do that....

At that point, I took it all apart and put the plastic bits in the dishwasher.

It took me about an hour to reassemble. It is fiddly, but do able.

That cupholder at $100 was a good deal but not too much on ebay right now...let me know if you see another one!
They have one now, just go to ebay and type in sc430 cupholder
