spring loaded cupholder replace or?
The part is exceptionally easy to remove and clean or replace.
1. open the elbow rest
2. wiggle out the seat warmer controls by gently pulling it up
3. unscrew the gear shift ****
4. open the cassette deck door
5. gently pull up the wood assembly with cupholder and ashtray starting from elbowrest side
6. done

The wood cover and the cup holder screw together. Not hard to separate.
I made the mistake of unscrewing all the screws, including the ones that hold the cup holder together. Don't do that....
At that point, I took it all apart and put the plastic bits in the dishwasher.
It took me about an hour to reassemble. It is fiddly, but do able.

Does that mean the wood off my old cupholder is removeable easily, or is there some risk of cracking-likewise, is it just glue to put it on another one (the wood)?
That cupholder at $100 was a good deal but not too much on ebay right now...let me know if you see another one!
