Default Door Speakers Replacement Suggestions

I have a friend who owns a 2005 SC430 and asked me to replace their front speakers. Im aware that there is a rebuit refoam kit but I am not interested in that and I know that there are old threads about this topic, but the links are dead / the speaker models not current. I know the front speakers are 8ohm 6"x9". Could someone who has done this in their SC recommend a direct replacement. Either the existing 6"x9" or possibly a 6.5" since I already have adapters. have previously replaced the door lock actuator motors in this SC430 so I have some experience with the vehicle. Thanks.

So after an exhaustive search for about a year, I finally found speakers that can basically just plug and play into the existing 6x9 space with little to no modification. That said, I've only just found them and haven't actually purchased them yet, so I can't vouch for their performance, but they appear to fit the bill. Powerbass USA 6x9 dual voice coil woofers, that can be wired 2 or 8ohm making them compatible with our ML system, but they will only work with the factory head unit. No aftermarket headunits. This is my first time posting anything on this forum so bare with me, I'll try to attach the link for you.. Powerbsss USAHope this helps. https://powerbassusa.com/products/mo...x9-dvc-woofer/
