It actually mean cashmere/Ivory/Ecru. and according to the build sheet in your case it means Ivory

Well now the nitty gritty...what to pay.
2007 Mercury/Ivory (ecru)
62000 miles, Arizona its entire life.
Wants over 26k retail, like the car but ugh seems a bit high, then again if clean and all Arizona with low miles- Ehh?
Actually lists 25,354 but after junk fees including Nitrogen tire fill just over 26k. KBB says its in the fair zone- but we know who's side they are on.

Prices have been rising, so this doesn't seem entirely out of line for a dealer. You might find something cheaper buying from a private party. Has the timing belt been done? How old are the tires? These can be used as bargaining chips. When the dealer says "excellent condition" and prices it as such, no major maintenance should be due.

I think it is high. There are some gaps in service the last one is almost 20K. Not sure as I did not review the entire service history but I did not see the timing belt/water pump as being done?

I have a prebuy scheduled at local Lexus and they are not part of group selling car.
25,354 + junk fees.
my NC Lexus rep said it would be higher on their lot due to the shortage of cars

You should be able to buy a much lower mileage example for that kind of money or a bit more.

I’m weird in that I want a car with some mikes on it. 4-5k a year means it’s not all dried out. As an airline pilot, planes break when they sit too long, call them hangar queens.
the premium value to me is the entire time in AZ, no salty roads or bad environments in general. Working on the price now but they aren’t interested in moving much at all.

The downside of AZ is that it is so hot, the rubber and plastic parts could be cooked.

The 20K gap in service history is important, but could be explained by the owner using an indy shop, or performing DIY maintenance.
Ask for documentation any and all service performed during the gap. If they don't have it, use it as a bargaining chip to bring the price down.

I’ve seen the SC price dropped in last few years but seemed like it’s going other way. I paid 29K out of the door for my 07 SC, 58K miles, in 2015. Some member bought an 07 SC under 20K few years later, made me kind of sorrow. Seeing the SC value is going up feel much better. Hopefully it’s not the spike due to the shortage.

According the the built sheet that SC is Ivory not Ecru. Ivory is tanner and Ecru is whiter. There is a difference. What type of plane do you fly for the arlines?

Well the code is LA00 and everything I see has it all the same color. Guess I'll know when I get there.
Pics on line look very light colored. Of course those can trick ya.

I'm a temporary resident in Jupiter, I'm a N Carolina mountain boy. Wife is a NC mountain girl. We are building near Brevard NC, been waiting out the lumber prices and hope to start the build in Oct.
My previous plan was to get an early 60's convertible, have a 3 car garage....well the 40% increase in building cost killed the 3rd bay...so a more practical car would be an SC430, a little bit of about everything and master of none except the one I also want most-DEPENDABILITY.
My buddies with LS430s swear by the drivetrain.
Anywho...yep that's the one....going to fly out Tuesday morning. Working with sales guy to ensure all the little stuff works first-antenna, CD player, blah blah blah.
I'm grateful for the help here....I'm a research to death kind of guy and sometimes get to in-depth to buy. My hobby is Astronomy and you should see me get analysis paralysis when buying that equipment.
Thanks to all, I'm probably overpaying I know....seems a common theme these days-take a look at stock prices, home prices, etc..
