Default 06 Keyless Remote Receiver Location

Traded my 01 LS for an 06 SC a couple years ago. Recently the remote control functions on the key fob quit all at once. They'd occasionally stop functioning previously but would usually return in a couple weeks but now, nothing. I changed the battery in the key fob but intuition is telling me to look at the wireless key fob receiver. I thought someone on the blog mentioned it was under the dash on the driver's side. If so, has anybody seen it or changed it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - JL

you can do a google search for "clublexus.com sc430 remote receiver"

If I recall, I think it is in the rear view mirror. I also think I recall that some dealership put a "TAG" on your car up there, so they can tell who you are as you drive up; However, it interferes with the Remote function.

That would make sense, in the past the remote seemed to quit working whenever I've repositioned the driver's side mirror. I'll look into it. Thanks a bunch for the reply.

…..just re-read your reply and noticed you're referring to the inside rear view mirror. That would make more sense and I changed the position of that recently also. Thanks again.
