Please, please , please don't you ever leave this forum! Your inputs and advice, all non-judgemental as well, are invaluable. Thank you.
Although it may keep me young as i turn into a contortionist in an effort to do the paper clip method I am wondering if I should maybe attempt making an OBD tool . Where do you get these to modify?

You can also make an adapter to prevent the alarms from occurring. I posted the solution a while back but will have to look for it later when I'm at home. You just add the adapter to the Techstream cable and you will not get any alarms from using the Techstream.

daddiojig, check out post # 62 in this link for an adapter for your Techstream to prevent it from creating VSC errors. Works great.
