Just wonder where would you tab the 12V for your DRL under the hood? Thanks.

I had to run a power supply wire into the car to the drivers side fuse box. There is a open spot for a mini spade fuse at the bottom of the center row of fuses (not used). I soldered a wire at the front of a 10 amp fuse to obtain power. Be certain when installing fuse that the circuit side is on the load side. Works without any concerns.
One confusing problem I encountered though...There are two different double contact bulb numbers. One will short out and blow a fuse...sorry I forgot which is the correct application. I would have to pull the bulb to get the number.

Thank you all. GmanSC's approach seems like something I can handle. Still waiting for parts to arrive. Will report how it turns out.

according to the bulb chart...the sc uses bulb 9005 for the high beam. so these should work.

Kind of a pain to wire them up but these units put out some light. I removed them from my LS430 years ago.
