Default SC430...totally dead

First...Merry Christmas!

So we're in the midst of swapping out speakers & replacing the door actuators...and the car is dead. The lights were on Sunday and wouldn't turn off without turning off the switch, but then when we went work on it yesterday it was dead. The battery clamp on the positive was pretty worn...so we replaced it today thinking it was the issue. It's not. Battery is fully charged (checked). But now...no horn, no bells, nothing...and no activity at all when we crank it.

We even plugged in the lock controllers thinking it may be the circuits not being closed over road some safety system.

Thoughts? HELP??? PLEASE.

I've seen this when the battery was weak or dying. Do a load check on the battery. It is also possible that there is a bad connection coming out of the battery causing a voltage drop.

What gear is transmission selector in? Could it have moved while you’ve been working on the car? You won’t start if the selector isn’t in Park or Neutral.

in addition to Harold and Bob’s excellent suggestions...

Can you connect a battery charger to the battery then turn the key on...do you have lights?

since it just stopped working, focus on the battery area.

Got it...somehow we missed a connection. My 16 year old mechanic found it!

Got the speakers done, one door in...now onto the back and sub!

Thanks everyone! And MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
