Default Re-covering Front Door Speaker Covers/Grills

I'm thinking about re-covering my front door speaker covers/grills. They look terribly worn. I'm guessing it is from the previous owner's shoes dragging across them as he got in and out. The interior is Camel but I'm leaning towards Black.

Has anyone redone theirs? If so, any advice on removing the covers/grills and the best speaker cover material to use? Do they just snap-out from the outside? There are plenty of material choices online so it should be easy to try different ones if necessary.

One possible solution for the fabric scuffs across the speaker grill is give it a shave using an electric razor.

I simply replaced them with new covers from Lexus. They weren't too expensive. The covers are screwed in from the back of the door card.
There are a few threads that explain how to remove the door cards or there are few pics a long way into this video that should help.

67609-24020-E0 right side, camel
67709-24020-E0 Is the left side, camel
Not sure if this link works but both sides shipped from Japan would be $110 total.

I never would have thought of trying that. Thanks for the tip! I have a feeling that they will keep getting scuffed by me or my passengers. It's certainly easier to get in and out of my RX350...but it's no SC!

Thanks, I'll check them out! I really wish that they were replaceable from the outside instead of having to take the door panel off. I have a bad feeling about that...

I was looking for a trunk mat (my 06 originally had it as an option but it was missing) and I was finding places online that listed it but my order had to be canceled because they were discontinued. I have a fear the speaker covers will be discontinued also.

Removing the door is not horribly difficult but does take some effort. Do a search for the thread about "wind noise" and you'll find detailed description of removing the door cover there. It is covered in other threads also. Here's the link to the door removal. Start at post #37:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...d-noise-3.html
Also see documents posted by Bob on post #19.

I doubt that the speaker covers are discontinued since they are listed by the two parts houses that BGW mentioned.

I couldn't order any beige mats from Lexus last year but the speaker grills were available.
