Default Help me identify this console piece

Can anyone tell me what part this is (the missing little square box) and if ti can be ordered separately??

That should have a cover on it. Its purpose is to unlock your shifter in the event it of a jam. You insert a flat bladed screw driver in there and push down and that will unlock the shifter. I am sure you can get that part but I do not know the part number

First you search for SC430 shifter

then find the correct part on eBay and they will usually list the part number.

now google the part number, click on one of the dealer listings for the new part. Their system will also list the surrounding parts...and here you go!

make sure it is the correct color by calling a Lexus dealer.

Thanks mister blister for the explanation and bgw70 for the part number! Had the dealer order it since it went 'missing' while they did an interior detail of the car. I really wonder how the heck that could happen...go figure

Comes in two finishes. One for 02-05 year models. The other for 06-10 cars.
