The mat is thick and has deep lugs that should hold a lot of water if you're concerned about snowmelt off your shoes. Only one of the floor hook holes on the driver side, and none on the passenger side match the hook location on the carpet. It matches the dimensions of the floor well. It's much better than the thinner generic floor mats I got some time ago.

All in all a robust floor mat, but not quite as good as the Weathertech door liner I have on my other car

Did you say that the Weather Tech carpet hook holes do not line up with our carpet hooks? What did you end doing?

I bought a pair of Weather Tech, black, from Costco. They don't have eyelets and you have to trim it to size. They serve the purpose of protecting the carpet well. I'm happy with them.

Default Yes I have them

Fantastic quality. I think the difference would be negligible vs OEM, and I’ve had OEM for my RX. The weather techs are good fit and thicker if that’s important to you.

Ordered on 10/24, should arrive sometime early this week. I also just bought new OEM carpeted mats (already arrived but not yet installed) to replace the ones that came with the SC which were showing some wear.

For some reason an earlier link took me to the Canadian site, but this US site is the price I paid. My 2006 RX400h has the OEM weather mats (negotiated when I bought it in 2009) and have held up well. The driver's side does have wear it in from my heel the last 9+ years (can leak onto carpet) so will probably replace those also. The carpeted mats below still look brand new.

The driver side mat has one of the two holes that lines up so you can insert a hook (4 included with the set) in the carpet hole, and this anchors the drivers mat. The passenger mat holes don't line up at all, but there are a lot of little nibs on the underside of the mat that seem to keep it in place so far.

Are you describing the Weather Tech Mats on the above statement?

That's correct. These are the Weather Tech mats for the SC430.

I was at Costco yesterday and looked at the Generic WeatherTech cut to fit mats. It's only $28. But if the pictures do justice on the website, definitely worth the $60 for the set.

That's what I bought. It serves the purpose of protecting the OEM mats. I'm happy.

It seems like when I drove a car with rubber mats for a while (many years ago), that the mat messed up the back of my shoes (back of the heel), especially the right shoe/boot since it was doing all the maneuvering (front and back and side to side). Do you not have that problem with these?

My RX330 has the Lexus All Weather Rubber mat and I have not seen an issue with my shoe. I must say that I actually thinned out the section that was in contact with my heel and eventually cracked. I still have not replaced it.

The WeatherTech mats might be made from tougher rubber, we’ll see. I will install mine today when I get home. Not being off topic, last Saturday, I was checking my fluids on my RX330 with the hood up and granting it was 40 degrees out, the hood freeking fell on my head. No blood, but it hurt. I ordered a new hood strut and it is coming in today as well. But I did not expect it to fail 100%. I guess the RX330 hood is heavy, which it is, without the strut I can barely lift it up.
