Default SC features that I hardly used

I owned the SC for three years now, drove her 7000 miles, there are features that I hardly used or never used.
1. Auto mirror tilt down when backing up. I just set the switch to neutral position.
2. Headlights washer. This is the joke. When do you have chance to use it?
3. AM, FM radio, CD and cassette tape player. All my music is on my IPhone.
4. S-shifts. I used it occasionally but Auto Trans is good for me.
5. NAV. Outdated and terrible. I used maps on IPhone.
6. Frog lights. Never used. My Led DRLs are so bright, no need OEM frog lights
That’s my list for now. I’ ll update it when I think of something else.

Adding to your list, GmanSC.
1. Cup holder: I only open and close it for entertainment. I don't eat or drink in my car.
2. Windshield wipers: these are not specific to SC only, but I don't drive my SC in the rain. I'm thinking about removing them because I hate it when I accidentally turn them on.
3. Backseats: not using, but not complaining either.
4. Seat heater: it's not needed in California, and I think it's bad for the leather.
5. Ashtray: again, not specific to SC only, but I don't smoke.

I still use cassette tape player.

Out of the 11 items listed above, I can only agree with two - the back seat and the ashtray.

As for the headlight washer...I haven't used it yet, but I will be driving the car all winter. It will get used then to get the salt spray off the headlights.

One more item to my list:
Auto Sound Leveliser Howv I hated this feature. When you increase the speed, the volume got louder. Very annoying so I just turn it off.

This feature I think was designed for when you put the top down. I like the increase of the volume when the top is down. I can turn it off if I want to

I don’t own one but I drive them at work. Features I don’t use include:
-Back seat
-Navigation
-Ashtray

It’s the same terrible Navigation setup as my LS430. I never use it because it’s so bad. I don’t smoke so an ashtray is useless to me. I don’t use the back seat of any of my cars.

They are two different things. The volume increases when the top down is constant, it compensates for the wind noise, where the ASL is increased or decreased with the speed. This feature can be turned off, the other can not.

I looked up the feature in the manual and it says " ASL When the audio sound becomes difficult to be heard due to road noise , wind noise etc during driving , The system adjusts to the optimum volume and tone quality according to the noise level. There is no mention that speed is at play with the ASL.

It also says that when lowering the top or raising the top the audio volume and tone quality automatically adjusts and fades out and fades in when moving the top . Not sure what they mean
.

Page 154 of your manual if anyone curious. I know what they said, but when you turn on the ASL, the sound level increases louder or softer according to your speed. It was annoying the hack out of me until I posed the question and BGW told me that it could be turn off. The sound increases when the top is down till there, and I don’t mind about that.
