Thank you both,
I do understand the chrome wish. When you see all the other chrome trim on the car, I wonder if having these wheels chromed in the future might be a possibility.

if anyone uses spacers, please make sure you check to see if you need to install longer wheel studs.

if you use spacers that too thick your lug nuts may only have a few threads to grab and you run the risk of a wheel falling off.

Yes, It's why I chose the Ichiba V2. Studs are built in to the spacer
Install spacer to hub lugs w/ 80 lb torque then torque wheels to 76 lbs on the spacer

Ichiba V2 30mm rear spacers

thank you for sharing this vital safety information!!!

i have always wondered if spacers place any additional stress on the wheel bearing or any other suspension part?

i almost forgot...Those Wheels look AWESOME on your SC430, Well Done!

I wonder too, sure hope it's all good cause I'm instantly in love with the wider stance. For every "anti" argument, there's a "for" argument. I've got the 2003 steering wheel wiggle going over bumpy surfaces (before the spacers, nothing changed w/ them) so front struts are on the way. Everything I did I learned here, so if something goes wrong, it's everyone elses fault!!

hi, I'm brand new to the club lexus site, and just purchased a 2004 sc430. You're car is awesome looking with these g spider wheels, and i would love to put that same wheel on my car; but when i check fitment, it says they won't work and shows this wheel only fitting 2007-2010 models. Do you know the difference?, or what i would need to modify to make this wheel work? thanks for any help

The G Spiders should fit your 2004. My Tourmalines fit my 2003 SC430 and I believe the specs are identical.

While the info is free, there is a hidden cost in that you must furnish a few pictures after you've got them installed!! Congrats

Will def post some pics... it’s in for a “spa” treatment for a coupla days to detail it and fix a coupla little things and to mount and balance the new wheels. I immediately took it in for a mechanical lookover and timing belt replacement when we bought it, so my wife is eager to get it back. Again, thanks, and this seems like a great resource for a lotta stuff I don’t know about this car.
