Default right door actuator

i have a 2004 Lexus sc430. my right door actuator was intermittent and now it does not work with the remote. i tried with the manual and it did not seem to engage. is there a fuse i can check before i pull off the door and replace the actuator. what box is it in, and how do i identify it.

i checked on site and they said to purchase on amazon a specific unit for other models. i need to know the one for my car. Also it said there was a forum manual on the replacement but i am having problems accessing the link.

More than likely the motor has gone out. There is a DIY thread for replacing it if you are handy but it is not an easy job. If you are handy, you should be able to handle it. (Do an advanced search for door actuator or lock along with my username and you should find it. There are pictures and descriptions from myself and BGW.)
