Seat problems
Hello All,
Recently noticed two issues with the driver seat (honestly did not check the passenger seat). The lumbar support and seat heater don't work. As I turn the seat heater dial, the light turns on but the seat does not warm up. I press the lumbar support button and nothing happens.
Can both of these problems be related? Perhaps a bad fuse? The car is an '07.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What Mister Blister said.
Did both of these failures occur simultaneously?
A break in the seat heater grid is unfortunately pretty common and virtually un-repairable except at high cost and huge effort. Also, it will look bad unless you do both seats.

I had seat heater bottom go bad on my 2004 gx470 I had bought with extended warranty through lexus they fixed it under warranty ; It was the drivers side. Then had to remove the seat and and put in a new grid & bunch of new clips hog hooks etc the total they billed Lexus for the warranty was 1013.32 . It was done with out a issue and it looked as good as the passenger side.

Pole Position
There are three connectors under your seat. You may want to look under there and make sure they are all connected

When I got a quote for the SC, I think it was closer to $2K, but that may have been because they wanted to replace the whole seat. In that scenario (one new, one a decade old), its going to look like crap. You were lucky they were able to repair and you didn't pay a penny.
