HVAC fascia plate part number needed
I would like to order a new fascia plate for my HVAC control, as the anti-glate coating on the original is fading. The alternative of cleaning off the coating (mentioned in a posting on this forum) is not for me.
US 2007 SC430, though I suspect the part did not change through the model run.
Circled in red - the partial p/n (55901) does not help:
Thank you.

Here here is what you asked for. It doesn't have the lcd screen though that you are wanting fixed. You would need the whole assembly that is over a thousand dollars new. Go on eBay a find a good used one.

The part you circled in red: The full p/n is 55901-24020 (01-05 Model Year) and 55901-24030 (06-08 Model Year). Merry Christmas!

Yes, I was trying to save him from spending money on a part that doesn't fix his issue. The part he circled is just a bezel. It in no way has anything to do with the screens antiglare coating. Picture and point here. Hopefully he sees it before he makes a $240 mistake.

If your looking for a used HVAC control stay away from any unit from a tropical climate, like Miami...
I know of several LCD's down here that had the individual segments fail (mine included).
I got two units from up north, one for mine and one for a friends car and they work just fine.

Nearly every SC430 I've ever seen has had a really messed-up looking anti-glare HVAC LCD screen. Lexus put some sort of anti-glare coating on the screen which is exceptionally easy to damage, even with the gentlest micro-fiber cloth. I can't see much hope of coming up with an immaculate one on a used head unit, but you never know. And for anyone who has a relatively scratch-free screen, be super-careful not to rub the screen with anything remotely rough or you'll see the scratches immediately (and forever)...

So true! The sun and heat are brutal to anything down here. I am keeping my fingers crossed with my 2002...it lived between Miami and Orlando most of its life but the screen is working so far...
