I have a 2002 SC 430 code 440 with a slight gas smell. Have replaced the float and fuel pump with seal in the tank (Used dealer parts). Can clear the code using Maxisys Pro through BCM. The code comes back usually within 50 miles of driving. Anybody have this problem?

 

That is a pretty common code and usually associated with cracked hoses in the engine bay. Read this post about it https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...0440-code.html

As an FYI, if you do a search for P0440 it returns more than just 440
