I was looking at the kit on Amazon everyone swears by.
Amazon Amazon
It looks like a great kit and it appears to have OEM components.

I see one of it's competitors has a few more components in their kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NAK9JF4?psc=1

Do
we need the extra components? Should we buy them seperately and add them to the Asin kit?

It appears that the only real difference is the cam shaft seals. They are cheap locally and I did have them replaced when I had my timing belt changed. I can't speak to the quality of the other components in the Evergreen kit. I can say that the Aisin kit is OEM. Aisin is 23% owned by Toyota. If you look around our engine bay you will see Aisin in a number of places. Brake master cylinder for example.

i didn't replace the cam or crank seals but I did replace the upper and low drive belts and hoses. Anything I took off, I replaced.
BTW, I didn't use the Aisin kit but will next time. I have no issues with the aftermarket parts on the SC430.
i did a write up on the TB change if you are interested...if so, I will post a link.

we did my sons 2004 3.4 V6 Tacoma recently and used the Aisin TB kit. I also have an Aisin TB kit ready to go in my 2008 Accord V6, just waiting on a few more miles and the fall weather. Currently at 78k miles and should be okay for a few more months.
