Do you park your SC away from cilvilization ?
Hi SC fans>when you take your SC out and you are heading to Costco or shopping with your better half( spouse), do you park car away from the Mini Vans and trucks? >I learn my mistake a few months ago when I pulled into Costco and came back with a ding on my door. Now I know why I see some car owners parked their car a football field away when they go to Costco 👍

I did during honeymoon period (New). Subconsciously I park between 2 newer model cars but when I come back the undesirable car (SUV) is blocking my door to open wide enough for me to slide in. I live in Irvine most cars are newer models but careful of SUV 'kids', have dings on driver side fender and door. Its my daily drive so dings and things can happen anywhere/anytime is my attitude.

I gave up on it. You still end up getting some smartass who then parks really close. Even though there are tons of open spots around in the back forty. Some people just have no respect.

I don't mind the exercise, therefore I try & park as far as possible. I also have tried parking between two newer cars, but when I return sometimes there's an old battered bomb that's taken the place of the newer car that was alongside me.

I tend to park farther away also and look for shade. (I also look for end spots.) Of course, even with that, I'll come out and there is a huge empty space between where I parked and all the rest of the cars are and there will be 2 or 3 cars that decided to come park right next to my car. I just don't understand that, but it happens. So you just do the best you can and accept the rest.

I am not making this up. On my way home from dinner the other night
I saw a Guy with an Old Chevy literially use his front
bumper like a bus to push the front car up a few inches to get out a spot
and didn't even bother backing up .
The car in front was a Newer Mercedes SUV.
There are people out there who really has
No conscience with other owners car.
you wondered there is road rage

I stay away from the crowd. Mainly on corner spots.
Sometimes, some a-hole would park right beside me. You know what kind of people these are. The kind that you avoid.

I've only had to park my car once so far and that was by a valet so who knows where they parked it! lol. We plan on taking it to the beach in a few weeks but I don't worry about it too much.

Absolutely, take the corner, but be careful in not hitting the curb.
Also, the best location is the location where the potential other driver is getting off opposite side of your car.
Makes sense?

Valets do not touch my cars ever unless it is a rental : )
I always find and park on an end spot and far from others as possible. Walking is great exercise. Like others have posted here, there do seem to be more than a few donkey-holes that show up in their giant pickup truck or SUV and park literally right on top of me. I honestly would like to take a baseball bat or worse to their truck sometimes but so far I always refrain.
