Help understand differences in brake rotor discs
I was watching a car show on TV (Pat Goss from Motorweek) and the mechanic said it came down to something really basic when buying rotors.
In essence he said, You don't want to buy cheap rotors because they are thinner and they will warp if they are under heavy braking. This will effect how they work.
That is why you want to buy a quality rotor. Preferably from a name brand company that has something to lose if they make a poor product. I told my not very mechanical friend, that if he had not heard of the manufacturer, he should not put their brake parts on his car.
