Default Crazy dome lights

Hello fellas I have a 2003 sc430 that keeps blowing bulbs?????
Help!!!
Please note it's just the driver side that keeps blowing!
Also can you tell me the correct bulbs or led please

....don't know the bulb size off hand, but if you're constantly blowing, then you have a current or ground issue. I would look into the compartment that the bulb fits and see if there is any sign of a burn mark. The metal base that the bulb sits in, could be making contact with something else metal. Also the wire that sends current to the unit,may have a break in it somewhere, also touching metal, which could cause this

The bulb is a BA9S. If you buy an LED, it needs to be reversed polarized.

I have had issues with the connection on this design but never an issue with bulbs burning out. Can you actually see the element broken or are you using a ohm meter to verify the bulb is bad?

What I have found is carbon buildup between the bulb contact point and the car contact point.

You can clean them off with contact cleaner and try bending the car socket terminals just a little. This will make it tighter on the bulb.
