Thinking of buying a 2002 sc430 the cavitation say no disc,my question is what disc would I need to buy and can I get them from eBay or do I need to go to dealer
Also where do I insert the disc,like I said I don't have the car yet but am real close,I don't even know if the navigation works.thanks jimbo

 

...you would have to get a generation 2/3 disc...It can be any year, but make sure it's a gen. 2/3 to be compatible with your year model. You should also be able to get a disc from ebay, but make sure it's a factory disc & not a burnt disc,because most of those will not play in our units. The most current disc won't be discounted too much on ebay, but if you buy one that's a couple of years old,you'll be able to get a good deal. If you look in the trunk, on the ride hand side, you'll see a plastic piece that reads "gps voice navigation"....pop that cover off & you'll see the nav box where you load the disc

GEN 2/3 Navigation Disc, suggest you get the latest (and the last edition) which is 2013. They are not being updated after 2013.

Also be careful about getting which disc, EAST or WEST Coast. Good luck.

...thanx for mentioning that Mandy, I had forgotten about it....Gen4 & up, have updated disc through the current year & some members with the Gen2/3 system have switch over to the Gen4 nav system,which is plug/play for the older system (gen2/3)
