UPDATE: I had some PMs with harold57 who was able to find some at his local JCP. He also noted that the following UPC from my screenshot did pull up the mug on their website:

If it helps, the mugs were located on shelves near the online order pickup desk...YMMV. I also updated my post above w/ this UPC info.
I wound up picking up a couple. At the two stores that I called, they had three colors each: both had black and stainless and the other one was split between blue and teal.
MAK99, where are you located. I've been to that store at Panther Lake (108th). Guess I'll go back to get a couple of the stainless steel insulated cups. We are in Maple Valley now, but used to live just off Benson but a bit closer to Renton. Know that area really well. The Albertson's there used to be the store we shopped at often.
The Dollar Tree near Panther Lake had the plastic water bottle/cup combo, not the insulated travel mugs which are at JCP Southcenter Mall. Sorry if i wasn't clear in my earlier posts.
I live in Renton in the Snake Hill area...good to know fellow CL members are nearby!
Thanks MAK99! Think I’ll pick up both! Snake Hill? Is that at the top of 192nd? My son & I would race those curves in our Miatas! He lives in a condo at the bottom (on Talbot). Wish there were local SC events.

Yep, that's the area. I live close enough that I can hear the occasional car/motorcycle testing the curves. I included a picture below for those that are curious...and I also wish there were local vents to meet other SC owners.
I drive on Talbot quite a bit, so I'll randomly honk next time I'm in the SC as I pass by the condos...
heading west has quite the downhill slope to make it even more challenging...
I lost my starbucks mug, and replaced it with several of these from a company called Contigo (purchased thru Amazon), and thought I'd share this with the group.
They're flared at the bottom; are bottom-heavy (low center of gravity); the 16oz version fit like an absolute GLOVE in my 2007 SC cup holders, --- and they even have an automatic closing lid to prevent spills.
Had to share it 'cause I've searched for a solution to this problem for a long, long time....
I’m glad you found this - and without a search of the forum. This has been posted before and I’ve been using the Contigo 20oz for a long time. Still wish there was a better cup holding configuration for our DC’s.
Based on this thread, I bought a couple of the bottle/cup products at a Dollar Tree store in Melbourne, FL. I really had no use for the water bottle, and so after talking to the cashier I gave the water bottles back to the store -- they donate such items to local elementary schools. Win, win!

Good for you. My store did want them. I ended up gave them to my relatives and friends.
I found the cheap fix for the design flaw of the cup holders in our SC.
Bough these cups at Dollar Tree, they fit perfectly in the cup holder.
Now my coffee cup, my water bottles and/or my favorite soda cans won't not tip over during the sharp turn or sudden brake.
They're stored neatly in the glove compartment when not in use.
Good idea. Thanks. Will look for these cups. Meantime, I keep my coffee hot & upright with a tumbler and a beer cooler cover. See photos. Right hand drive car
It fits snugly & doesn’t topple even on sharp turns.
