What did you do to/for your sc430 today?

yes switching to DVD on either/both screens requires a few steps to do and to have the machine think the parking brake is on.

Yeah, TAP is a rare color. Never seen one in the metal other than mine. Just a few pics of other TAPs like yours. It's blackish at night, deep brown in low light and almost purple in bright light. Enjoy in good health.

Upgraded to an IS-F say bar and links with polyurethane bushings.
Anyone who hasn't done this mod I really recommend it, I can really feel the difference in how the car handles!
The old and the new (IS-F on the bottom)
Fitted!

Uninstalling the trunk pieces so I can install the coilovers. I want to have a chat with the engineer who designed those pieces. Surely there is a way to create a carpet piece right above the bolts for the shocks, so we do not have to uninstalled the entire trunk just to get to those bolts I am taking a break now. My back is sore. Being tall, it is a real pain to work on this car since it is low to the ground. That was a big job in itself. I noticed that I think someone had removed some of those clips before, and did a poor job on putting things back. I am missing some clips, and some of the bolts are not tight.
I also notice on the driver side, there is little plastic with gas sign. I am assuming it is to open the gas door. Is this thing just hanging free or should it be tucked in somewhere?

....my gas door release is also hanging free, but out of the way, so I'm assuming that's the way it should be. Also you might do a search on the early threads about rear coilovers, one of the members did a cutout in the carper area, that made future work/adjustments alot easier

I have seen members here who made small cutout (around 1.5 in) in carpet area to adjust the coilover, which I am planning to do as well. But after uninstalling the whole trunk, I am really leaning making a larger cutout, like 4-5 inch, on mine so I can access the bolts for the coilover, if I ever need to make any changes.
