Thanks for taking the time to find the original post. It was very interesting to see who was on ClubLexus back then and who is here now

I have to laugh at your statement. I stole HIS picture, instead of the other way around. All the stuff I post about roofs was stuff I had found trying to fix my own top. I just stuck it all into a folder on my computer and regurgitate it when it is needed.

i am not looking forward to the day when I know as much about the roof as you!
it may be coming sooner than later, because the 2002 is beginning to make a new sound when the roof is raised and lowered.
it will be top down weather soon, that’s when I will start looking into it more.

i still need to replace the HVAC servo Motors in the dash.

Default if the roof is making noise

(like mine is) then it's probably time to lube it

trouble is I can't find the places to spray the lube

As far as the research goes, roof position switch No.1 & No.2 are integrated into a single part, the part number is 84742-24050. And my car is 2007. Can anyone confirm if this is the correct part before I place the order? Thanks.

Sc07, so is the part number 84742-24050 for that switch? Same issue here and I like to order. Thanks

Yes. That is the right part according to Longo Lexus.

There are many sites like this that have diagrams etc. to help you make sure you are ordering the right parts. Good luck.
