Default Should I paint or replace my wheels?

I own a 2005 SC430 Black with the pimiento red interior. The wheels are scratched and chipped and I want to replace them. Someone told me that the car is/will soon be a classic and I shouldn't paint over the wheels -maybe replace them but keep them in the garage, but not paint them. Your thoughts. In the same vein, I'm sick of looking at the tape deck, I want to update the whole thing. Will doing this a) affect the resell value since "original parts" aren't there?

I wouldn't worry too much about them. Just get them refinished and either use them or get a set of wheels you like, keep the OEM for later.
