Please enlighten me. What is a "donut spare"?
Is that one of those inflateable spares? If so does it allow more luggage space in the trunk than a full size spare?

My new donut wheel/tire.........its about 4" wide compared to the about 9" wide of my conventional Michelins. Fits nicely and neatly, with its lexus monogrammed cover, in the trunk wheel well.....all the tools stay in place.......glad I finally went this route.
With top up, there is not not that much space lost; with top down, there is always the back seat!!!!

 

Maybe I'm just lucky but I am not having any problems with the Bridgestone runflats. Granted it does not float over potholes like a Buick Roadmaster or something, but the ride is comparable to other sporty cars I've driven.

I do love the acceleration on this baby. It just moves so fast and gracefully like a gazelle.

One thing is that the visibility to the sides and back is not the greatest. Partially obstructed by the rear headrests and the side mirrors are the smallest I've ever had. I am getting used to it and I've always been a head-turner anyway when changing lanes just to be safe.
