Well I think I am finally getting to the end of my lighting problems. I have them all working except for the lights on the turn signal lever, the windshield wiper lever, the cruse control and the steering wheel. So all the light on the steering column are out. I cannot find a bad fuse. Can some one help me figure our which fuse it might be, or give me some other items to check?

This sounds like a problem with the spiral cable in the steering harness., Do a search on this you will find several threads

hope I post this correctly as my first question on this forum. reading this post, are you saying the wiper lever, cruise control lever, and turn signal lever are supposed to be illuminated somehow? and, where on the steering wheel is it lit? on my 2002 SC430 only the radio controls are lit along with the ignition surround.
many thanks,
