Default Worm etching on my wheels

This might be the wrong place to post but I'm sure I'll find knowledgeable people here. I crack one of my 20" Concept One wheels and have 3 left. I found that I have wierd worm etching on the finish.
1) is i worth fixing the cracked rim for $40 and sell them
2) is the etching fixable
3) are these now just scrap metal?

I've already gone back to stock 18 and now these are just taking space at my house.

The "etching" appears to be Filform Corrosion. Do a Goggle Search.

This is typical corrosion that appears when moisture gets under the clear coat or painted coating.

Cessna had this problem on aircraft produced between 1977-1980 when they switched to paint their aircraft with DuPont Imron polyurethane paint and did not properly prepare the bare aluminum before applying paint.
