Brake light switch sensitivity

Hi,

My issue is that when I tap on the brake light it doesn't come on. I need to press on it hard for the light to come on. How exactly do you adjust the brake light switch sensitivity? Any answer will be helpful!

You can turn the switch in or out by loosening the nut and adjust it either way.Its under the dash look above the brake pedal
